Tomb in Ukraine (1916)

Tomb of Ivan Franko at Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.

Please be aware that in 1916, Franko buried at the Lychakiv cemetery in another's tomb. It was temporary, and May 28, 1921 was the reburial of his ashes to permanent place at the beginning of the 4th field. The monument on his grave (pictured) opened May 29, 1933 executed by his Ukrainian sculptor Sergey Litvinenko.
