In the section «Translations» we continue publishing of the cycle "History of ancient Roma" (1915 – 1916). Today – next 10 verses, including "Adventure in August in his infant age [approx. 60 BC]."
26 Dec 2016 New review
We publish review "George Maspero. History of ancient Eastern nations" (1905).
This textbook is a translation very good textbook by famous French Egyptologist Georges Maspero, made from the latest French edition, published in 1904.
24 Dec 2016 New publicistic article
In the section "Publicistics" published article "Momzen and Slavs" (1904).
From the interpretation of the deeper sources will depend on our judgment of the man: can he be considered fair, though in the case of false danim informed, or we should turn away from him in our souls.

In the section "History of literature" published an appeal "Courteous request" (1895).
In these four volumes I hope to exhaust that supply of translates apocryphal literature, which rotates among south-Rus’ public and have preserved in south-Rus’, especially in Red-Rus’ manuscripts.

In the «Prose» section we publish short story "Boris Grab" (1890).

Another overwhelming anniversary falls in 1898. Actually that year has passed 100 years, as in the Russia appeared first book, written by our folk language – the first of the "Aeneid" Kotlyarevsky.
2 Dec 2016 New article on history
Section "History" is replenished with article "To the Galician-Ruthenian bibliography 1848 – 1849" (1898).
With the hope to publish in journals of our society since all papers which may throw some light on the history of our country, we are submitting the news of some printing.

In the section "History of literature" published an article "Juliusz Słowacki and his works" (1895).
In the past Słowacki had an enormous influence on a whole generation of Polish, and the influence is not always positive, because mainly acted on the imagination of the reader and lift it.

Until my heart is broken when think about it, I lose all my money! Two thousand guldens, – it is capital! You just consider that I have working hard for the money to twelve years!

In the section "History of literature" published an article "Maid-servant" by T. Shevchenko" (1895).
When in the story Shevchenko speaks with all the trappings epics, amenable to realism, though far from all brutalism, in the poem he goes completely different, here he mostly lyric.

Byron had a tremendous influence on poets of other nationalities, including that in Slavic, and not ceased to be understood by the masses of intellectuals around the world.

Mission Brunon to Pechenegs had one truly political consequence – one that after acquaintnce with Christian missionaries pechenigs desired to have peace relations with Vladimir.
