We continue publishing M. Mochulskyi’s article "From the Last Decades of Franko’s Life 1896 – 1916" (1926). Today – the next 5 chapters, including "15. I. Franko and Marxism".
Was Franko a Marxist at the time of the trial? "I was – he says – a socialist by sympathy, like a peasant, but I was far from understanding what scientific socialism is."
